Brief History I attended various BBC engineering training courses from November '73 to February '79 at their training center in Wood Norton. I have extensive experience in all aspects of live concert and studio recording including planning, rigging, mic. placement, tape-op, stage-op and sound balancing. Often my live sound balances are broadcast either live-to-air or edited for later tx on radio, TV and the Internet. For example I am the sound balancer for the live element of Radio 3's Jazz On 3 series, most of which are 'straight to stereo' with multitrack backup. My experience also extends to track laying and overdubbing onto various multitrack formats, analogue and/or digital. Where necessary, I have remixed music material for later domestic and international broadcast and/or commercial release. Click here to see a brief discography on Artistdirect I started my career in post-production, editing, assembling and mastering radio programmes for broadcast using 1/4" tape. Since then I have become proficient in computer-based assembly and mastering using ProTools and SADiE DAWs. From February 2003, Track The Right Take became a Limited Company. |
